Plan B

I read an article called "Obama endorses move to keep age restrictions on morning after pill." In the article it talks about how Obama secretary made the decision that the morning pill cant be sold over the counter.  I think that Plan B should be over the counter. I think that it should be over the counter because if its not the women who want to purchase this item will be burdened and it wont have any use if you have to get an prescription and stuff because that takes time for you to go your Doctor and other things.. If you can get the the pill without a prescription you can buy the pill and prevent pregnancy quickly. But the problem with women being able to buy the pill over the counter is that preteens and children will be able to buy the pill. Although children shouldn't be having sex, some do, its reality. Even though they are sexually active they shouldn't be able to buy the pill because since they are young they might use the pill in the wrong way. Even though the drug is used for something useful it can have negative effects that can follow you throughout your  life.

Its a shame how young adults in this generation are contracting diseases at such high rates. Teenagers are among the population who are getting sexual transmited diseases. There are diseases such as: genital warts, HIV & aids, gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes,  hepatitis A,B, & C. The rates have increased dramatically. Since the numbers are increasing people are starting to get more aware of whats happening. They are trying to educate all young adults about whats happening in the world. By informing the people whats happening and telling them how to prevent this. You can help save a lot of lives and heart ace. Just because you don't always die from diseases they can have a huge impact on your life. They can cause issues on your relationships, and other things

In the news they where talking about occupy Philadelphia. Late night all the protesters that where arrested where let free.  A college student name Diane Akerman, 28, said police were unnecessarily aggressive with the protesters, especially with the mounted and bike units. "I was pushed with a bicycle against a wall," she said, alleging that the push was unprovoked. The protesters where peaceful. It was the police who where aggressive and mean and being rude. The police where pushing and shoving people into their bikes and into walls and etc. I think that the police could have handled the sitution in a different manor they didn't have to be so mean and rude to the protesters. I'm happy that i wasn't downtown during this. It sounds like it was a terrible scene and really  dangerous.
